GRAMMAR - Dative Case - Masculine and Neuter Nouns
As usual masculine and neuter nouns (and their adjectives) are very similar ... but not exactly the same.

Let's start with a new word
- Goverment - rząd
In the Locative case we add 'owi' to the end of masculine nouns:
- I trusted the government (female) - Ufałam rządowi
- She didn't trust the government - Ona nie ufała rządowi
So how would you say:
- I didn't trust the government (female) -
- We trusted the government -
- They trusted the government (mixed group) -
- He trusted Tomasz -
- He helped Tomasz -

For neuter nouns we change the ending to 'u'.
- I helped the town (female) - Pomogłam miastu
- I didn't help the town (female) - Nie pomogłam miastu
And in both masculine and neuter the adjectives (and my, your, this, that, etc.) endings are 'emu'
- I helped this town (female) - Pomogłam temu miastu
- They helped this town (mixed) - Pomogli temu miastu

Take your time to think out these sentences.:
Thinking these out, rather than trying to remember them, makes learning faster.
- Did you trust the government? (male) -
- Why did you trust the government? (male) -
- Why did you help Tomasz? (female) -
- Why didn't you help Tomasz? (female) -
- Why did you help this town? (female) -
- They helped this town (mixed group) -
- Why did they help this town? (mixed group) -

Heads Up!
Dative is also used for the very popular phrase "Thanks to".
- Thanks to this project, I know - Dzięki temu projektowi wiem
- Thanks to that innovation, I have time - Dzięki tej innowacji mam czas
So how would you say:
- Thanks to this doctor, I have time -
- Thanks to that work, I lived in Warsaw (female) -
- I lived in Krakow thanks to Tomasz (female) -
- Thanks to this, I can go -
