We know that adding 'ny' to many English words gets us the Polish. 'Actual' is one of these as well but the meaning is slightly different.

In Polish when we use 'actual' we mean 'current' as in 'your current address'

In government offices or when signing up for things like a mobile phone contract you will often be asked for your 'current' information:
