Remember the 'w', when it means 'on' bounces us into the Accusative case - so we have Accusative endings: W zeszłą sobotę

W zeszła sobotę - accusative because we are after 'w' being used as 'on'
szukałem pracy - genetive because something is missing, we were looking for it
w Warszawie - locative because we are after 'w' being used as 'in'
