Learn Polish - I know where

We can already say I have, I think and I like. The next key verb is 'I know'/'you know' and it's short and simple.

Thinking Brain
  • I know - Wiem

Here the 'I form' of the verb ends in 'm' so like 'mam' we can get the 'you (informal)' version by knocking off the 'm' and adding 'sz'. Try to think it out and then press the play button below to check if you are right.

  • You know -

We already know 'what' and 'it is' so you should be able to think out the following without learning it:

  • I know what it is -
  • You know what it is -
  • Do you know what it is? -
Transfer

So now think out the following sentences because you already know them .. if you think about it!

  • I know what you think -
  • I know what you like -
  • I know what you have -
  • You know what you have -
  • You know what you like -
  • Do you know what I know? -
Graduation Cap
  • Where? - Gdzie?

Again we can think out the following sentences because you already know them ... if you think about it!

  • Where is the hotel? -
  • I know where -
  • I know where it is -
  • You know where it is -
  • Do you know where it is? -
Transfer

In Polish when we are talking about knowing where something is we keep the sentence structure 'where is the hotel' and just add 'I know' to the front.

  • I know where the hotel is - Wiem gdzie jest hotel

So now you can think out the following:

  • I know where the document is -
  • I know where the car is -
  • You know where the hotel is -
  • Do you know where the hotel is? -
