Polish Grammar - Accusative Case - Masculine, Neuter
So we know how to spot if we are in the accusative case and, if we are, what changes to make for feminine nouns and masculine animate nouns. What about non-animate masculine and neuter nouns?
The good news here is that nothing changes. We write and say these in exactly the same way that we have already learnt
- To jest dobry raport - Mam dobry raport
- To jest dobry wino - Mam dobry wino
Spend some time to get comfortable with:
- Identifying the gender of nounrs
- Spotting the accusative case
There are other cases to come but you will quickly be overwhelmed with all the different word endings unless you get each case firmly under your belt before moving on.
Remember to book mark this and the last 2 lessons and do the exercises each day for the next week to become completely comfortable with the accusative case.
And now we have the complete row of endings for all three noun genders in Nominative and Accusative
We'll build this table more as we go forward and you can use it as a quick reference until the various rules sink in.
