A touristic promotion
In the last lesson we looked at adjective and noun ordering. We'll practice this further in this lesson and pick up some easy to learn but ever useful vocabulary
Promotional is an English word ending 'tional' and although it does not follow the 'tional' transfer rule it is easy to learn:

The following are all types of promotional things which means they will not change and are not matters of opinion. Try saying the Polish out loud before pressing the play button:

- A promotional coupon -
- An offer - Oferta -
- A promotional offer -
'Touristic' is an English word but rarely used. We say 'a tourist route' or 'the tourist season'. In Polish we take it from 'touristic' which means it's a word ending 'ic':
- Turystyczny -

For 'Trasa' the mental hook is 'trail'
Heads up!
1. Way back when, tourism meant heading out to nature for outdoor activities like hiking. 'Turystyczny' also means outdoor activities so in a city a 'sklep turystyczny' might lead you to na outdoor sports shop while on the coast it will be a place selling buckets and spades for the beach!
It's also why a 'termos turystyczny' is a thermos for outdoor sports and hiking ... and not a thermos for tourists!
2. In American English a 'route' can mean a national road (like 'route 66'). 'Trasa' can also mean this like the 'Trasa S7' from Warsaw to Kraków.
