Zabawny / zabawna 'Zabawna' means 'funny' but if we looked up 'funny' in the dictionary we'll find it spelt with a 'y' on the end - 'zabawny'. So what is going on?
This is your first Polish grammar rule:
If the thing we are talking about (książka, taksówka, etc.) ends in 'a' then the word we are using to describe it must also end in 'a'
Remember this as 'the matching a rule' because both words end in 'a'
