Without 'czy'

In the last chat Sara asked Robert 'Jesteś z Hiszpanii?' but shouldn't she have said 'Czy jesteś z Hiszpanii?'?

In reality 'czy' is only used if you need to emphasize that you are asking a question.

You need to be aware of 'czy' because some people will use it to you when asking questions and as a beginner it's a good idea to use it yourself so you are clearly understood.

However, listen out for people who are not using it as this is a common practice.
