Neuter Nouns and Cases

So we can see in the Nominative and Accusative cases the endings of neuter nouns (just like masculine nouns) do not change:

• Gdzie jest miasto? (Nominative)
• Czy wolisz miasto? (Accusative)

But neuter endings do change in the Genetive case - when something is missing or lacking.

Here the 'o' or 'e' ending changes to 'a'

• Gdzie jest miasto? (Nominative)
• Czy wolisz miasto? (Accusative)
• Nie wolę miasta? (Genetive)
