In Polish nouns have 'genders'

• Feminine - nouns ending in 'a' like 'kawa'
• Neuter - nouns ending in 'o' or 'e' like 'radio'
• Masculine - all the other nouns!

There are exceptions but we'll start with the core rules!

The gender of a noun, as we will see, affects the whole sentence
