You might have noticed that the difference in sound between the he form and I form of some verbs is almost impossible to hear:

That's because it is almost impossible to hear!

In fact in every day Polish most Poles do not pronounce the 'ę' in 'chcę' correctly because it is awkward!

It's another reason why it is important to use 'on/ona/to' before the verb when talking about 'he/she/it'.

Our only exception to the rule of removing 'sz' from the you (informal) form to get the he/she/it form is 'Jesteś' ('you are').
