Pan i Pani

So we have

• Pan - Sir
• Pani - Madam

But how to remember which is which?

The easiest mental hook is that 'Madam' is longer than 'Sir', and 'Pani' is longer than 'Pan'.

The capital P

In written Polish it is important to use a capital P at the start of Pan and Pani.

Think of it the same way as you would write someone's name with a capital letter at the start.
