lp101 cat Madam / Sir - the formal you

So far whenever we have needed 'you' we have used the 'informal you' form of the verb

However when meeting someone new it is a sign of respect to use 'formal you' and certainly in a professional setting.

This type of phrasing is similar to the very formal English - 'Does Sir/Madam like jazz?'

The verb form is the same as 'he/she/it.

The only change is the word ordering from 'ona lubi' -> 'lubi Pani'.

In formal you the verb always goes first

Let's try it!
