Co?

'Co lubisz?' literally means 'what you like?'.

Just like in English we can use 'co?' on it's own as well to just mean 'what?'

Just like in English it's a bit blunt so you wouldn't say it to a stranger unless they were being rude but you would use it in conversation with friends.

Also listen out for people saying 'Co? Co? Co?'. The 3 time repeat shows you are very interested and want to know.

The 3 time repeat can be found in many places in the Polish language - for example 'Tak, tak, tak' to emphasis 'Yes, I definitely agree!'
