Asking Questions

To make a question in Polish all we need to do is add 'czy' in front of a statement.

To jest dobry telefon - It is a good telephone.

Czy to jest dobry telefon? - Is it a good telephone?.

'czy' does not mean anything. It simply signals that this is a question.
