Good to Know Accusative Case
So we are in the Accusative Case when we use a verb in a positive way:
- Mam telefon
- Lubię pop
- etc.
Words ending 'a'
We have already come across words for things (nouns) that end in 'a' such as:
- ksiąka - book
- zupa - soup
- etc.
In the Accusative case (when using a verb positively) we change the 'a' ending for 'ę'.
- To jest książka
- Mam ksiażkę
- To jest zupa
- Lubię zupę
